At the height of COVID-19 (and with a lot of free time on my hands), I started streaming on Twitch.
I wasn't the only one who turned to livestreams and video games for a source of entertainment and connection; they were the perfect quarantine hobbies in one of the loneliest and most isolating years of this century.
4 years and 1 hiatus later, I'm grateful every day that I decided to put myself out there in 2020. Streaming remains one of my main hobbies and my biggest source of joy, pride, and purpose.

Charity streams are complicated and nerve-wracking to plan. Will the cause resonate with my community? Will we meet our goals?
6 charity streams later, I've learned that the answer to both questions is "absolutely". I've walked away wearing clown makeup, temporary tattoos on my forehead, and more (and it's worth it every single time).
