I wrote my first story at the tender age of five, and it was called Billy the Caterpillar.
Billy had a backpack made of leaves, which he used to store more leaves during his many adventures.
It was four sentences long.
Anecdote aside, I’ve told stories for as long as I can remember. No more caterpillar protagonists (unfortunately), but a variety of writing for all sorts of audiences and mediums instead. Through it all, I’ve kept my love of simple, personable copy, and finding words that are just right.
In my free time, you can find me doodling in Procreate, camping at cafés with a mocha in hand, and livestreaming on Twitch.
